In every safety net related area, independent, market-based associations and companies provide varied and innovative oversight that far surpasses what the government regulatory monopoly forces on us today. The drivers for quality are the competitive pressure of the marketplace and the need to build up and maintain a good reputation. You don’t stay in business for long with less than a 4-star rating.
