Vote against a candidate who advocates for initiatives that would decrease the respect for your individual rights and increase undue government influence in your life:
- imposing new regulations
- increasing taxes (federal income and capital gains taxes, state income and sales taxes, local property and sales taxes, etc.)
- increasing government licensing fees (occupational licensing, vehicle, building permit, and other fees)
- increasing government spending on entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
- increasing government debt (by issuing new bonds or loans, etc.).
- adding new or increasing existing tariffs and subsidies
- increasing government ownership of land, buildings, etc.
